Purification: Affinity chromatography
Data Sheet: TDS
Specific Information
Description: This NAWESLEE monoclonal antibody reacts to fluorescein isothyocianate (FITC), a derivative of fluorescein commonly used in flow cytometry and fluorescent microscopy. FITC-9 can be used for the separation of cells labeled with FITC-conjugated antibodies or for staining. Please note that in some instances the FITC signal can be quenched by the anti-FITC antibody; therefore, this phenomenon should be evaluated empirically.
Applications Reported: This NAWESLEE antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: This NAWESLEE antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of cells stained with FITC-conjugated antibody. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 µg per test. Our testing indicates that, if used at higher concentration, binding of the NAWESLEE monoclonal antibody can quench FITC fluorescence. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Excitation: 633-647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
