CD8 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (5H10), PE-Texas Red

PRODUCT DETAILS

Host: Rat

Isotype: IgG2b

Clonality: Monoclonal

Clone: 5H10

Format: PE-Texas Red

Reactivity: Ms

Application: Flow Cytometry

Tested Dilution: Assay-dependent

Concentration:

Storage: 4°C

Formulation: PBS with BSA and 0.1% sodium azide

Purification: Affinity chromatography

Data Sheet: TDS

Specific Information

The 5H10 monoclonal antibody (mAb) recognizes the mouse CD8a chain (Ly-2). Antibodies specific for CD8a rather than CD8b are recommended for a rigorous delineation of CD8 positive T cells. The 5H10 mAb has been used in other labs for flow cytometry and inhibition of T cell responses to IL-21.

Each lot is tested by flow cytometry using freshly harvested mouse splenocytes. For PE-Texas Red conjugates: excitation 488 nm/peak emission 615 nm.

Use dim light during handling, incubation with cells, and prior to analysis. It is recommended that cells be analyzed within 18 hours of staining. If the reagent is being diluted, it is recommended that only the quantity to be used within one week be diluted.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
