Specific Information
Description: This YKIX337.8 monoclonal antibody reacts with canine CD44, also known as phagocytic glycoprotein-1 (Pgp-1). CD44 is an adhesion molecule that binds hyaluronan, a major component of the extracellular matrix. This cell surface molecule is expressed on leukocytes and epithelial cells, as well as in canine mammary and melanocytic tumors. Furthermore, CD44 expression is induced by T cell activation.
Applications Reported: This YKIX337.8 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: This YKIX337.8 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal canine peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
