Specific Information

Description: BMS112 detects CD11c from human samples. Integrin alpha X (CBR-p150/4G1) is a mouse monoclonal antibody raised againstIntegrin alpha X of human origin.

The antibody can be used to stain aceton-fixed cryostat sections or cell smears. BMS112 is also suitable as primary antibody in immunofluorescence, flow cytometry. In functional assays the antibody inhibits binding between p150,95 and endothelial cells.

CD11c non-covalently associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer. This complex is expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages, NK, dendritic cells and subset of T and B lymphocytes. CD11c/CD18 binds to CD54, iC3b and fibrinogen and plays a role in leukocyte adhesive interactions.
